Favre’s Agent Bus Cook Says Deal is Not Done w/ Vikings

The Brett Farve saga is turning once again, as today the story is that Favre has NOT signed a deal with the Vikings, this despite a report from WCCO Tuesday that claims he was inked and will be there for training camp. It also stated that the contract includes “heavy incentives.”

TwinCities.com reports today that they spoke to Favre’s agent, Bus Cook, and when asked if there was any truth to the rumor that Favre was inked, in an email he said - “nope.” The agent didn’t elaborate any further than that. There’s no doubt that Favre being a Viking is just a matter of time, and this cat and mouse game will only play out for so long till an official deal is announced.
