According to Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times, the Seahawks released safety Deon Grant Monday. Grant, joining the Seattle franchise in 2007, recorded eight interceptions while wearing a Seahawks uniform. In other news, defensive end Darryl Tapp signed a deal Monday worth $1.176 million.
