St.Louis Rams May Have a New Owner Soon

UPDATE: Another potential owner as pointed out by 2xAught7 on Twitter is Texas billionaire Gerald Ford (no relation to the former president).  Charlie Casserly of CBS mentioned Ford’s name in November as associated with a bid for the Rams. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has learned that the Rams ownership group of Chip Rosenbloom and Lucia Rodriguez, children of the late Rams [read more...]

Buffalo Fires Pro Personnel Chief John Guy

He was lucky to survive 2005’s front office clearing, but this time around John Guy’s luck ran out. On Wednesday night, the Bills fired Guy, their vice president of pro personnel since 2001.  Guy was in charge of the team’s scouting of free agents and scouting of opponents.  He was brought to Buffalo by former team president Tom Donahoe in 2001 [read more...]

Pro Bowl Snubs

The Pro Bowl teams were recently announced, and to be honest there were several players that were considered shoo-ins that didn’t make the cut. Some omissions were simply due to depth at the position, while some seem like glaring omissions, so let’s get down to it.AFCBen Roethlisberger is always mentioned this time of year, and with 4100+ yards this year, [read more...]

Despite the Setbacks, It’s All Good for the Pats

As the year winds down, the Pats are – happily – bringing it up. Best of all, they played like they were having [read more...]

Bad Buccaneers Switch QB’s to Go with Rookie Freeman

Not that it’s probably going to matter, but the winless Buccaneers have changed starting quarterbacks again, with rookie Josh Freeman trying to take over the teams floundering offense.
