Game 22. Yanks win third straight with 3 in 8th, 7-4.

Melky Cabrera got the game-winning single, and Ramiro Pena’s first extra-base hit of his career (double) drove in two insurance runs as the Yanks scored three in the 8th to win 7-4. Youth was served. Last night Hughes, tonight Joba. Hopefully it’s a vision of the future, and a long series of successes for Hughes and Joba. Last night, Hughes, 6 shutout innings, 0 R, 2 hits.
