Game 159. KC at Yanks. Last home game of the regular season. KC 4-3.
YANKEES (102-56) +8 on Pythagorean. OPS+ 120, but here is what is most exciting…ERA+ 105. I believe that is the highest it has been all year. Back in Business! Let’s catch up on Games 157 and 158.

Hope you missed me. ;-) I do thank you for [read more...]

Game 157. KC @ Yankees.
Rain delay. If they play, here is the lineup. As you might expect, a lot of regulars got the day off. Expect the regulars to get semi-days off from here on in….just enough action to keep them fresh…and just enough off-days to give them some well-deserved rest. Yankees clinch AL East, and I was there to see it in person!
Wrap it up, I’ll take it. Yanks weekend sweep of Boston (4-2) clinches East, best record. Win #100.
Yes, I’m home. I called in and had to take a day. The shoulder was killing me and I didn’t feel too well. I know you probably aren’t buying it. True, though. I spent the afternoon half asleep with an ice pack on the shoulder. So I did catch the Yanks clinching the division and best record in the AL with win #100 [read more...]
