Assessing the Contenders Going into Saturday night's game, the Wisconsin Wolfpack were 4-1. Then they played their first game without their quarterback, Tom Stetzer, and the odds of the team challenging the Slaughter went down significantly. Slaughter Stifle Freedom
After the game against the Marion Mayhem, Slaughter Receiver Donovan Morgan passionately pleaded to his teammates about not being penalized so much. Then against the Fort Wayne Freedom Morgan set an time record for yardage and helped propel the Chicago to a victory 56-41. Slaughter Remain Undefeated
The Chicago Slaughter continued their winning ways despite a tough effort from the Wheeling Wildcats. After apparently getting their money's worth, the Slaughter received a few key performances from the usual suspects, leading to a 67-59 victory.
